At an early age, Reema, a school graduate of PardadaPardadi Educational Society (PPES), was curious about education and the world beyond rural India. Through her determination and intervention by PPES, she not only got an education but, withstanding pressure from her family and community to stay put and marry young, scored a scholarship!   Reema completed a Business Management Program at a US college, and today, she is economically independent.   She has returned to her village and volunteers at PPES to inspire, educate, and empower other girls to never give up on obtaining their education. Girls like Reema inspire out team at the Gendercide Awareness Project (Gendap).  We proudly supportPPES, whose commitment to educating poor, at-risk girls in Uttar Pradesh helps us end gendercide in this deeply conservative Indian state.
