Students joyfully hauled boxes of books up flights of stairs to the top-floor library – a spot many students cherish as aquiet refuge. At @AcademyCMAA in Guatemala, @Gendapproudly sponsors three girls there, helping advance #GirlsEducation. @librariesfortheworld generously donated the new books.  ​

The Academy is Gendap’s education partner in Guatamala, serving 200 students from pre-school through high school. Students come from varying backgrounds: indigenous, non-indigenous, poor, working, and middle class.
