Here is an update!

In spite of living in a very poor dwelling on the shores of a polluted river, Sharmila is known for her bright smile and warm spirit. This second grader with a can-do attitude is on her school’s distinction list for ‘her sincere effort’ and very high marks. She attends one of  Hands in Outreach’s valued partner schools. Gendercide Awareness Project is a proud sponsor of Hands in Outreach whose mission is:  providing access to education for poor inner-city girls  to help alleviate profound poverty.
