Sokny (center top photo) writes in her letter of gratitude: Eleven years ago there was a very poor family who lived in a small hut. They were so lucky that their family was supported by the Cambodian Village Fund. Sokny graduated from college this year (rt. bottom photo). The Cambodian Village Fund’s full scholarship of $1600/year provides for tuition, room, money for food and clothes, Internet, dental care and a small allowance. Not a bad investment towards improving the lives of poor rural children when it yields this result. @Gendercide Awareness Project proudly partners with @Cambodian Village Fund : taking action against ‘gendercide’ (loss of females due to social causes) by educating poor, at-risk girls in developing countries.
