We use every means possible to raise awareness about gendercide. While newspapers and radio are our best tools, our speaking opportunities and art exhibit provide moving and educational experiences to those who attend. Read details about our past events here.
Two opinion pieces in NEWSWEEK!
We use every means possible to raise awareness about gendercide. Recently, we boosted our reach with two pieces in NEWSWEEK. The first called attention to the World Economic Forum’s blind spot regarding women in the ‘world’ it represents. The second argued that gendercide statistics make a compelling argument for American use of soft power to promote women’s rights and physical safety.
While news outlets are our best tool, our speaking opportunities and art exhibit provide moving and educational experiences to those who attend. Read details about our past events here.
Traveling Art Exhibit
The art exhibit enables us to get the under-reported problem of gendercide in the news. After exhibitions in Dallas (2017) and Toronto (2018) the art exhibit is now touring Mexico (2022-23). We spotlight Mexico’s terrible femicide rate — ten femicides per day! — and identify femicide as the Latin version of global gendercide. We work with local Mexican leaders to launch (or expand) programs to prevent gender-based violence and help women experiencing violence.
