Why This Matters

Gendercide is not a statistic.
It is a global crisis hiding in plain sight.
Across the globe, an estimated 143 million women and girls are missing due to gender-based discrimination, violence, and neglect. This crisis – known as gendercide – is one of the most pressing human rights issues of our time.
This Gala brings together community leaders, advocates, supporters, and partners to reflect on progress made, raise awareness, and continue the work of protecting at-risk girls through education, advocacy, and action.
